Replacement 3D Probe Spring

Since May 2026 it seems the manufacturer of the V6 Touch probes has revised the spring in the mechanism. Probing accuracy is unchanged, but the new spring’s force is close to that of the Tool Length Offset (TLO) sensor, so TLO readings may be off by a fraction of a millimeter, and raise an error. I've documented how to overcome this issue via software here.

On all the probes I sell now from late June 2026 onward I'm switching the springs back to 3N ones that work perfectly with the Tool Setter in the Makera machines and require no software correction.

However if you have DIY'd your own probe, I'm making available replacement springs.
