Carvera CNC 3D Touch Probe

3D Touch Probe for the Makera Carvera Air and Makera Carvera. This probe can measures in all 3 axis (X/Y/Z) while the stock probe can only measure in Z. This enables accurate location of stock, finding of complicated geometry such as bores, and facilitates improving the calibration of the machine itself.

On this probe half of the shank has been turned down to 1/8", so this probe can be used with both the standard 1/8" collet as well as 6mm collets.

It comes with the required cabling shortened to the appropriate length for your machine (Air or Original Carvera), terminated with the required probe connector, and supported with a connector housing to make removal easy.

This kit comes with a spare probe stylus, and has had the modified tail-shaft calibrated within 0.05mm, and the effective tip diameter measured for the specific probe that will be sent to you.

If using the Original Carvera, the cabling requires the probe port that came with the electronics extension board with Harmonic Drive 4th Axis. Carvera machines purchased from 2025 on wards (with the serial number ending with -R) have this port available. This is because the probe port on this extension board is required. The probe can be used at the same time as the 4th axis.
